Small Investors’ Role in Promoting Transparency in Financial Services

The Securities and Exchange Commission continues to push the financial services industry towards greater transparency.  Today’s lack of transparency creates a host of problems.  For plan sponsors of 401(k) and 403(b) plans potential lawsuits are among the risks.  For the plan participants, the folks who are investing for their retirement, the biggest problem is a smaller nest egg when they retire.  Read more in todays Wall Street Journal: Click here to find out how small investors play into the picture.
